🚨 this is not a drill: listening room toronto

This might be the coolest event in Toronto that I’ve personally been to. Live music is such a special experience as is, but listening room is different. My friend literally cried last time we went because of how moved she was by the music. Listening Room is about coming together through a shared love of music, and reimagining classics. There’s an insanely talented house band that kicks off every song and members from the audience can tap in to play. The event we went to was featuring Sade’s music and had vocalists jump in as well. It literally is an experience that cannot be replicated, and every edition is different - magic happens in the space and I love the level of presence it forces. The words I’ve used to summarize it don’t really do it justice, you really do just have to go and experience it.
